A little about my journey…

I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother whose passion for helping others has grown through every season of life. My career began in business and marketing, but God quickly led me into the wellness field in the early 2000s as I pursued my master’s in counseling. I spent years serving in school, agency, and private practice settings—earning recognitions such as Humane Educator of the Year and Teacher of the Year—but even with this “success,” something was missing. As a counselor, I was troubled by the medical model approach of diagnosis and treatment, not only because those labels were sticking and defining the clients I worked with, but I also noticed a significant gap in proactive natural strategies to help people manage stress & anxiety and be resilient. This really hit home for me when I ended up in the hospital myself, thinking I was having a heart attack, only to learn it was unmanaged anxiety. That experience opened my eyes and ultimately led me to leave my secure, tenured position to focus on proactive stress management coaching, workshops, and keynote speaking.
